St Cathryn’s offers you a variety of activities for you and your family to enjoy together. The choice is yours; Play a round of Golf, catch bass or trout in one of the two dams, take a leisurely walk or mountain bike ride on our new mountain bike trail through the well kept forests. Enjoy the peaceful tranquillity of the pristine wetlands, relax with friends overlooking the dam with sundowners, as the rietbuck and duiker stroll by. We take pride in our comfortable, self-catering accommodation, with numerous offers to choose from, you are spoilt for choice! Delicious home cooked meals are available on request. Sites are on sale and the freehold opportunity allows you and your family to own a piece of paradise right on the water’s edge. At St. Cathryn's we have newly built modernized accommodation. One of which has an upstairs bedroom, that sleeps four. All our accommodation is basically equipped and serviced once daily. Just outside of the village of Kranskop, in the scenic Natal Midlands. St Cathryn’s Country Golf Estate is not your typical golf estate. We take pride in our comfortable accommodation and delicious home cooked meals. Join us to fish in one of our two dams or walk the fairways in search of our abundant bird life, and if you are lucky you may catch a glimpse of the otters in the dam. Play a round of Golf, catch bass or trout in one of the dams. Take a leisurely walk or mountain bike ride through the well kept forests and enjoy the peaceful tranquillity of the pristine wetlands. But then, that's what happens when life is filled with fun. Freehold ownership is included for you and your family. If on any of the Mug days you would like to tee off earlier because of other commitments feel free to ask, and where possible we will accommodate you. The Triangular series is played against two other clubs: Mandeni and Darnall. The home game date is set but the other dates are to be confirmed. Cost R150 per player includes green fees, halftime and a light lunch Prizes are also awarded. The format is MEDAL and the player with the best Gross becomes the Tuta Carriers Club Champ. The Blue Jacket has been in the Nel family for 75 Years and stays with the club. Interclub is when our club competes against other KZNGU affiliated clubs and this year we play on the South Coast. A team consists of three players and no one is selected to play but you as golfer are required to make your self available. The club pays the entrance fee and each golfer is responsible for paying his accommodation, food, liquid refreshments and travelling. The format is 4BBBS and good prizes are awarded as well as a Floating Trophy. Where possible we as club will assist to send out sponsoring letters on your behalf. All the funds raised are used for course maintenance, repairs and if needed upgrade to equipment. The format is 4 Ball Alliance, we draw for partners. This one is where our farmers change their khakis for golfing attire and play in a nine hole fun golf day in aid of Golf Non golfers are paired with a Golfing member and this is hilarious. Please get involved with our little club and we will try and make your golfing experience one to remember. Although privately owned we appreciate your support and involvement and where possible will we try and implement suggestions.
